Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: March 2026

1. Purpose

Why This Policy Exists

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the standards of conduct expected of all users of the Platsana application (the "Application"). Platsana is a platform designed for yoga studio owners and managers ("Studio Users") to manage their business operations, including facilitating payments from their customers ("End Consumers") through the Application.

By accessing or using the Application, you agree to comply with this AUP in addition to Platsana's Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy.

2. Permitted Use

What Platsana Is For

The Application may be used solely for the legitimate management of a yoga studio or fitness business, including managing memberships, scheduling classes, processing payments from End Consumers, and communicating with clients.

Studio Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of the Application, and any activity conducted through their account, complies with all applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction.

3. Prohibited Conduct

What Is Not Permitted

You must not use the Application in any manner that:

  • Violates any applicable local, provincial, national, or international law or regulation
  • Infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party
  • Involves the transmission of unsolicited commercial communications or spam to End Consumers or any other party
  • Misrepresents your studio, its services, or the terms under which End Consumers are charged
  • Uses the payment facilitation features of the Application for any purpose other than legitimate transactions between your studio and your customers
  • Attempts to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Application, its infrastructure, or the accounts of other users
  • Introduces malicious code, viruses, or software intended to disrupt, damage, or interfere with the Application or its underlying systems
  • Involves the resale, sublicensing, or commercial redistribution of the Application or its features without the express written consent of Platsana

4. User-Uploaded Content

Your Responsibility for Content

The Application permits Studio Users to upload content such as images, class descriptions, documents, or other materials ("User Content"). You retain ownership of any User Content you upload, but by uploading it you grant Platsana a limited licence to store and display that content solely for the purpose of operating the Application on your behalf.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that User Content does not violate any applicable law, infringe any third-party rights, or contain material that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. Platsana reserves the right to remove any User Content that, in its reasonable judgement, violates this policy.

5. Responsibilities Toward End Consumers

Your Obligations to Your Customers

Studio Users are solely responsible for the services they offer to and the transactions they conduct with their End Consumers through the Application. Platsana facilitates those transactions as a platform but is not a party to them.

Studio Users must ensure that End Consumers are accurately informed of what they are purchasing, the amount they will be charged, and any applicable cancellation or refund terms. Studio Users are responsible for handling any disputes, refund requests, or complaints raised by their End Consumers, and for complying with all applicable consumer protection laws.

Studio Users are also responsible for ensuring their collection and handling of End Consumer personal data complies with all applicable privacy laws, including obtaining any necessary consents.

6. Enforcement

Consequences of Violation

Where Platsana becomes aware of a potential violation of this AUP, we will generally seek to notify the account holder and provide a reasonable opportunity to remedy the issue before taking further action. However, Platsana reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account without prior notice where the nature of the violation is sufficiently serious, including but not limited to cases involving illegal activity, fraudulent transactions, security threats, or significant harm to End Consumers or other users.

Account termination resulting from a breach of this AUP does not entitle the account holder to a refund of any fees paid, in accordance with our Refund Policy.

7. Changes to This Policy

Policy Updates

Platsana reserves the right to modify this AUP at any time. Where changes are material, reasonable notice will be provided prior to the change taking effect. Your continued use of the Application following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
