Refund Policy
1. Scope of This Policy
Who This Applies To
This Refund Policy applies solely to subscription fees paid by yoga studio owners and managers ("Studio Users") to Platsana for access to the Application. It does not govern payments made by end customers of studios ("End Consumers") through the Application. Refund requests from End Consumers in relation to studio purchases must be directed to the relevant studio, as Platsana is not a party to those transactions.
2. Overview
Our General Position
Platsana operates on a subscription basis. All fees are charged at the start of each billing period and are non-refundable except in the limited circumstances described in Section 5 of this policy. By subscribing to Platsana, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
3. Billing
When You Are Charged
Platsana offers monthly and annual subscription plans. Payment is collected in full at the beginning of each billing period — monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.
4. Cancellation
How Cancellation Works
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period, at which point access to the Application will cease and no further charges will be made.
Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund or credit for any unused portion of the current billing period, whether on a monthly or annual plan.
5. Exceptional Circumstances
Discretionary Refunds
While refunds are not issued as a matter of course, Platsana recognises that unusual situations may arise. Platsana reserves the right to issue a refund or account credit at its sole discretion in exceptional circumstances, such as significant technical failures on our part or demonstrable billing errors.
To request consideration of a refund, please contact us at billing@platsana.com with a description of the issue. We will review each request on a case-by-case basis and respond within a reasonable timeframe. Submitting a request does not guarantee a refund will be issued.
6. Chargebacks
Disputed Charges
If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your payment provider. We will make every effort to resolve billing disputes promptly and in good faith. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in the suspension or termination of your account.
7. End Consumer Payments
Studio Customer Refunds
Platsana facilitates payments from End Consumers to studios through the Application but is not a party to those transactions. Any refund requests from End Consumers in relation to studio services, memberships, or class passes must be directed to the studio directly. Studios are solely responsible for managing their own refund obligations to their customers in accordance with applicable law.
8. Changes to This Policy
Policy Updates
Platsana reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Where changes are material, reasonable notice will be provided prior to the change taking effect. Your continued use of the Application following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
